Both graduate certificates are intended for professionals experienced in computer science, information technology or related disciplines with the goal of building on their mastery of cybersecurity and its aspects.

Cybersecurity — Threat Detection focuses on techniques to detect threats and the area of cyber-forensics, while Cybersecurity — Information Assurance focuses more on general cybersecurity issues in the industry, as well as how to protect digital information.
