Browning Hall

College of Science and Health Facilities and Equipment

The new state-of-the-art Browning Hall is an interdisciplinary science building that includes four chemistry teaching labs, a chemistry research lab and instrumentation room, biology and physics laboratories. The department possesses a number of computational chemistry programs including GAMESS and the most recent version of Gaussian (Gaussian 16) the most popular and widely used computational program in chemistry.

Students have access to a variety of modern chemical instruments including FTIR (Perkin Elmer Frontier), UV-VIS-NIR (Perkin Elmer Lambda 750), UV-Vis (Perkin Elmer Bio Rad 10), NMR (Nanalysis NMR Ready 60e) and Fluorescence (ISS PC1) spectrometers. Other instruments include a UV photoreactor, a GC-FID (Agilent 6890), an HPLC (Agilent 1100), and a polarimeter (Steeg & Reuter). Chemistry students also have access to an array of biological instrumentation including PCR, flow cytometer, electrophoresis and ultracentrifuge equipment.

Electronic resources include access to a variety of journals and databases. The Natural Sciences and Mathematics department possesses a number of computational chemistry programs.

The MA in Counseling with an Emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling 鈥 available at the main campus in St. Louis, Missouri, and the South Carolina campuses in Myrtle Beach and Columbia 鈥 is accredited by The Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

黑料网's Department of Professional Counseling has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 4505. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. 黑料网's Department of Professional Counseling is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
